NIOSH Recommended Exposure Limits (RELs)

Little Pro on 2015-12-30

NIOSH Recommended Exposure Limits (RELs) are occupational exposure limits recommended by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). They are included in the NIOSH Pocket Guide to Chemical Hazards, a guide which presents key information and data in abbreviated tabular form for 677 chemicals or substance groupings (e.g., manganese compounds, tellurium compounds, inorganic tin compounds, etc.) that are found in the work environment.

It shall be noted that other occupational exposure limits (OELs) are also used in the United States. They shall be included in SDSs if available.
