Preview of 12 New SVHCs to Be Added to REACH Authorization List

The European Commission has notified 12 substances of very high concern (SVHCs) to be added to the REACH authorization list to the WTO. Those substances will not be allowed to be placed on the market or used in the EU after a given date ("sunset date"), unless an authorization is granted for their specific use, or the use is exempted from authorization. About REACH Authorization List
REACH Annex XIV is also called REACH authorization list. It contains a list of substances subject to authorization under EU REACH regulation. Substances on this list are selected from REACH SVHC list and they cannot be placed on the market or used after a given date ("sunset date"), unless an authorization is granted for their specific use, or the use is exempted from authorization.
Up to April 2019, the list includes more than 43 substances.
