REACH Annex XIV is also called REACH authorization list. It contains a list of substances subject to authorization under EU REACH regulation. Substances on this list are selected from REACH SVHC list and they cannot be placed on the market or used after a given date ("sunset date"), unless an authorization is granted for their specific use, or the use is exempted from authorization.
REACH Annex XIV is updated frequently. Up to 15 June 2017, the list includes more than 43 Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) such as Trichloroethylene (CAS 79-01-6), Chromium trioxide(CAS 1333-82-0), Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), and Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP), etc.

What Is New?
We have launched a free tool called REACH SVHC Finder to help you quickly search if a chemical substance belongs to Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) under EU REACH regulation or not and whether it is subject to REACH authorization. The tool allows you to search SVHC list and REACH authorization list at the same time.
If your are a manufacturer, importer or user of any substance on the authorization list, you may apply for authorization from ECHA for your own use or stop production, importation or use after the sunset date.
